The Chios Byzantine Museum is housed in the Mecidiye Mosque, a historic 19th-century Ottoman building located in the center of the island. The museum features rare artifacts from Chios's Byzantine and post-Byzantine periods, including icons, frescoes, early Christian sculptures, miniatures, and wood carvings. The collection spans a wide historical range, from the Early Christian period to the 17th century. Offering artworks within a historic mosque, the museum combines cultural heritage with an art experience, providing visitors with a unique atmosphere. The museum welcomes visitors of all ages and backgrounds with accessibility features such as wheelchair ramps, an elevator, and accessible restrooms. Admission is €5 for a full ticket and €3 for a reduced ticket, and credit card payments are accepted. The museum is closed on Tuesdays but is open weekdays and weekends from 08:30 to 15:30.

The Armolia - Apolichna Castle Hiking Trail is a scenic route located in southern Chios, Greece. Starting from Armolia village, it leads to the historic Apolichna Castle. Admission is free. This approximately 1,355-meter long trail is clearly marked with red arrows, offering visitors a safe and accessible route. Along the route, hikers will discover plains covered with olive and mastic trees, steep slopes shaded by pine and kermes oaks, and magnificent Aegean vistas.
