The Armolia - Apolichna Castle Hiking Trail is a scenic route located in southern Chios, Greece. Starting from Armolia village, it leads to the historic Apolichna Castle. Admission is free. This approximately 1,355-meter long trail is clearly marked with red arrows, offering visitors a safe and accessible route. Along the route, hikers will discover plains covered with olive and mastic trees, steep slopes shaded by pine and kermes oaks, and magnificent Aegean vistas. The trail culminates at Apolichna Castle, built in 1440 by the Genoese Nikolao Justiniani.
