The island hosts the remains of a shipyard believed to be 3,200 years old; researchers have identified 274 separate slipways in this area. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Öniz from Selçuk University described the shipyard as 'the largest archaeologically proven shipyard in the world'. Scientists believe this discovery could offer new insights into the Mediterranean's 400-year Dark Age.

Dana Island, an essential stop on boat tours, has also become a popular destination for diving enthusiasts thanks to the shipwrecks it holds.

Tisan Peninsula

There's a place perfectly nestled between blue and green in Silifke, Mersin: **Tisan Peninsula**. Said to have been discovered by a colonel passing through the region during the Cyprus Peace Operation, this peninsula has been talked about for years for its turquoise sea.

Tisan, formerly known as the ancient city of Aphrodisias, resembles coral coves with its pristine white sand and deep blue waters. Boğsak Bay

**Boğsak Bay** is the beach belonging to Boğsak Village in Taşucu. It stands out with its fine sandy and small pebble shore, Blue Flag sea, and calm atmosphere. **Boğsak Island**, directly opposite the bay, acts as a natural breakwater; therefore, neither strong winds nor wavy seas are commonly seen here.

Boğsak, also a very suitable area for campers, offers bungalow houses that can be rented seasonally or daily. For those looking to stay, it's a good idea to confirm current prices directly with the facility before making a reservation.

Daily Boat Tour Services
